1) The LTR has +2 arms stock, if it didn't handle better, there would be something wrong. If you want to compare the 700r with a quad with stock +2 arms... throw a pair of +2's on the 700 and compare them.
2) I raced a LTR with the baffle out w/a cherry bomb with a bone stock 700r and it was a dead even race. (drivers race every time) Driver of the LTR was probably a few lbs less than me too. On top of that he was a 26 year old experienced rider not some noob. (I'm 35) Nobody is getting owned here. Torque is what gets you moving and the Raptor makes a boat load down low (the main reason you need to short shit the raptor). A high revving 450 isn't going to make any decent torque until higher in the rpm range. This Danielson, is fact.
3) Ride a SE with the upgraded shocks. Top heavy is so two years ago with the 660. If your riding with proper suspension setup, meaning sag, ride height, compression/rebound settings the quad can hang. Jumping on someone elses quad that isn't setup for you makes a big difference. I don't know, maybe your one of those guys who don't setup their quad?
40hp at the wheels stock isn't great for a stock quad?

I guess you failed to read my last post completely. 40hp at the wheels with a 9:1 compression piston is pretty damn good if you ask me.
I'd take a 700r SE over all quads (which I did) and I'd take the "lighter" LTR450 over a KFX450 :blah: Who needs reverse on a MX quad? It's just extra weight. Plus the LTR can be had for a cheaper price.
