silver lake sand dunes is the first stop of our spring/summer quad riding adventure of the year.
we can finally see the grass with what warn weather we've had ,still big snow banks every were but there going fast.
I'm itchen to get out and see what my new mods are going to do for me,mostly its a test ground for our trip to ok., for the easter week end. really SL is lame and only good for about 3 hours of ride time but it is sand ,cant think of a better place to go to make sure every thing is in order . i may have to rejet just a little, the dyno said its good but theres nothing like a butt dyno to see if it feels right.
my buddy gust put a lot in to his 450r and i know hes going to be doing some tinkering with his quad .
his quad should be pushing out 60+ hp or a least it should ,for all the money he's dumped in to it.
they claim the COP's( citizens on patrol ) will be handing out tickets to people towing in there quads if there using a tow strap.its an old law ,i think is mainly designed to increase the extortion revenue's of the local PD .
at least winter is over and its time to ride .yeeha

if the weather is good I think we maybe heading up to Silver Lake the first full weekend their open. With the first being on a Sunday will they open for the weekend? Mothers day weekend for sure to see the hill climb.

For our area SL is great, but like you said not much to do. Too bad they dont have more of the dunes open for riding.

I would like to make the 18hr drive to OK some day. Take plenty of pics and post them.

Whats up th this old law of towing your quad in the park?
