Alright I'm sure someone here has a pipe on their quad. Other than being louder, does it really give that much of a power gain? Im in the market for a pipe, and if they did not make that much of a difference then I wasnt going to get one. Input here would be nice.

I installed an FMF Titainium 4 on my KFX 700. There is a noticable power gain. But i also installed a K&N and jets at the same time. Mostly it makes the revs faster due to a free-er breathing engine.

Do you have the full system or just a slip on. I dont think i want to spend all the money. Should I go with a full system? IDK

I have z400 with a full CT system, and when they did the pipe shoot-out for our quads, it won!
It also has adjustable disc system t change your power and your decibels.

My husband has the full CT on his Z, he read the same article. When I got my Yoshi and blasted his ear drums, he's been jealous ever since :lmao:

The shootout that Dirt Wheels done was a crock of chit, i've had a Yoshi TRS, CT, HMF, and i currently run a Sparks pipe. The CT was'nt the pipe they made it out to be. The Yoshi and HMF BOTH put up higher numbers on the dyno, i have'nt dyno'ed the Sparks but it feels just like my old HMF. Best bang for your buck....the HMF.

ok heres one for you.only thing i can say is yes it does make a diff.i have a trailtec speedo on mine and the diff between a stock and aftermarket pipe was about 3 to 4 mph. it is not going to be snap ur neck power increase but it does make some diff. i put on a big boar kit and droped to front sprocket down one tooth and got another 6 to seven mph out off that. that is top end with the pro com rev box of course.

i went with a full yoshi ,yes it does give a respectable power increase . the dyno that i ran on said that it gave me a 6 hp increase .I'm also using a UNI filter and have rejeted to a 160 main but I'm going up to a 165 as the plug is a little light in color.
will let you know what happens .

IMO

go with a full system, a slip-on won't do much at all maybe 2-3 hp... a full system can go anywhere from 6 to over 9+ hp.

If I where you I'd go for a full on HMF bill ballence pipe. It's not that loud, it performs, and it is definitely high quality.

Spark's pipes are not all that they are cracked up to be, so I personally would not go that route... their loud, heavy, and not the best pipe for 550 bucks...

Also stay away from Nmotion pipes... a whitebrothers makes more power, and is ALOT quieter. Nmotions are extremely loud pipes. more so then even the TC shorty.

when it comes to pipes, I definitely know mah chit, I've been doing research on the best performing pipes for over a year and a half now and I can say without a doubt the top pipes ever made by any company are.

in order, DASA, Rossier, HMF, pro circuit, CT, Whitebrothers, Nmotion, yosh, and lastly sparks x6....

I beleive, an HMF or pro-circuit would be your best bet since I know rossier and DASA do not make pipes for a z...

a TI pro-circuit will rock so will an HMF, and pro-circuit has it's own custom sound no ones ever reproduced, and I know HMF is also a great pipe for the money. go with those two, you can't loose.

IF YOU'RE LOOKIN FOR A CHEAP PIPE LISTEN TO WHAT EVERY1 ON HERE IS SAYIN ABOUT IT
BUT MAKE SURE YOU DON'T OVERLOOK THE DR. D'S
NOT TOO EXPENSIVE AND THEY MAKE PRETTY GOOD POWER

I have been reading all the talk on pipes, so I was woundering if anybody is running the Yoshi Titanium TRS Pro Exhaust full system. I am going to be doing some mods when I get home, But am not going to get the 440 kits, just do the porting and jets, go with a better high compression piston and some hypertec rims and knife rod, and cams, and air box mods. but would like to hear if any body is running this pipe w/header. Thanks.
