Hey guys
Seems my life is looping like the movie "groundhog day". I just did a full carrier on my 86 atc250R and now need to do one on the 450R I just purchased. With the 250R, the bearings were so bad, they ate the carrier. I installed a lonestar clone with "all ballz" dual row bearings. It worked really well, and did not need an O-ring.
When installing a lonestar on a KFX-450, do you use the o-rings? I imagine I'll need a new set. It does look like they have grooves for them, but given that the bearings are fully sealed, do you need them? The 250R guys don't install them with the sealed carrier.
Also, any good lines on the LSR carrier? Thanks
