After installing my 15 front 34 rear sprockets, Crower Intake cam, ESR exhaust, DynoJet Programmer, removed the fenders for better aerodynamics, I gained a tops speed on my GPS of 83.2MPH. Its geared good for 1 person riding in the trails but the suspension is beating me up. If I plan on riding with 2 up or going on a long trip with slower riders I think the 34 rear will do fine as far as an all over sprocket.

I would say its close to the YFZ I have(06 WR450 Motor, crower cam, full exhaust, velocity intake, jetted and stock gearing 82MPH flat GPS) as far as power but its geared too high to compare cause the YFZ has a wide ratio tranny thats got all low gears till the top. So If I geared it back to a 34 only it might be really nasty. Stock gearing would be too low and too much power and gears are too close.

I havent washed it so I wont take a pic. Soon I will.

tell us were to buy the front and rear sprockets? and on the powercomander III, (ESR pipe) what map did you end up using, also have you used all the maping from dyno jet?
I removed the air box lid, also the spark arester,(stock pipe) installed the powercomander III, runing map (002) and lost power, way to rich, now trying (001) map, any one found this to be true? Utah, 70 temp at 3500 feet, I would think that the maps are base line at sea level?

At that elevation it might be hard to find a drop-in map right now. FUELATV is working with his KFX and should have maps posted soon. You might want to buy some dyno time to tune your quad. Also try Fuel Moto's website.

The front sprocket is a KX450F/YFZ450/KLX front sprocket from moose racing. It is the same front off a YFZ450, cause it said what machines it fit on the package and looks identical to the one for my yfz. So I would go on ebay and pick one up fora YFZ for cheap or call up dennis kirk or any place.

Now as for the rear, to save some dough, I wolod go on ebay again or any place that has a 34 rear for a 400ex cause its the same except it takes tapered bolt heads and buy the bolts and make it work. I dont know if theyhave a 34 for a 400ex though, but I bought Mine from Sprocket specialists. http://www.sprocketspecialists.com/, they made me a aluminum 34 rear with link lock. It was 72 dollars or so before the shipping so its a tad more than what most people will buy. I would also tell them to harden it which also cost 12 more on top of that.

You will have to take out 1 link.
