I read that every 10 or so hours you have to rebuild the engine on the new 450. Is this true?

yah rebuild is definatly a over statement. Change some oils, check some other things and you should be fine. On a stock motor it should run fine for multiple riding seasons

I hear of people who own LT-R's with 50 and more hours on the motors and they haven't even adjusted valve clearances.

Remember you do have to watch and take care of the 450's more than a 400 class machine or a 700 Raptor.

Yeah and just to be safe have a regular maintenance schedule you follow on any high performance engine for that matter.
