Just curious if my machine is possibly running correctly or not. When I start my bike I have to leave it on choke for at least a solid minute before turning the choke off. Otherwise it will die out. I noticed my dad and brother only turn the chokes on their ltz machines for the initial start and they can pretty much turn the choke right off, and they continue to run just fine. Is this normal on the kfx?

Is it just this time of year that it does that? I noticed the same thing on mine this winter with the cold temps. In the summer I never had to do that.

Could also be an indication of a lean mixture...especially if you've done any mods,
