Looks like the ignition coil is probably my next upgrade towards peak performance. I've heard Dynatek makes great stuff? Is this what you would recommend? What are some of the gains I could see from upgrading the ignition coil? Any downsides? Are these hard to install?

I use one...much better then stock...not sure in the comparison with the Jeep coil mod though...
I still use a dynatek too.

I used a MSD 40kv jeep coil and it was the exact same as the dynatek Coil.

I use this as well and it works great. I did have an issue with my primary coil wires turning to dust inside the insulation but cut out the bad sections, added some new heavier wire and no issues since. Figured moisture got in there somewhere...

That's scary hope that's not a common thing.

Definitely not common.
My friend had a brand new 2012 that had the coil wires rub through in about 5-6 hours which was nuts.

but mines been good for 8 years now no issues
