Does any one here have a dial-a-jet on their quad. If anyone has one a kfx,z400,dvx tell me how much of an improvement there is, and if i have to change the internal jetting as well.

One of the ATV magazines did an artical on the dial-a-jet. I think it was with in the last 2 months, I will look at my mags and let you know which one it is in. And I hope it will helps you out. I don't have one on mine because then I might just mess up the settings. lol

Sorry it took so long to get back but I found it, the dial a jet article is in dirt wheels mag October 2006 PG 131. they did it on a honda 400ex. but you can also go to this site www.thunderproducts.com They might be able to help you out. hope this works for you.

I had one on my KFX400. It was great, much better response, smooth increase of power, not the dump of fuel power like most large jets. Increase fuel milage, great for xc racing. Work great with exhuast and k&n power lid. Great Combo to add power. You still need to jet to allow more fuel into the bowl, but not as high around a 155 or 160 Jet, stock pilot. This fuel is sprayed into the carb, kind of like EFI.
