From what I'm hearing Kawasaki will have it's own controller that will work for an after market exhaust. FUELATV and PDR have PCIII controllers. I'm sure there will not be a $40 CRBM that will access a second map. PM FUEL, PDR or LRD for more details.

im not real familiar with the cherry bomb...i just heard it adds around 7hp for only 40 dollars....

is it like the PCIII??? i thought all the PCIII did was remap your fuel line...which wont add no 7hp will it??? dont you need to have the exhaust and air to even add close to that??? or do you think the PCIII alone will add some HP?!

A Cherry Bomb or CRBM is a device that you plug in a pigtail on the ATV and it accesses a second fuel map stored on the EFI controller. This second map allows you to pull the spark arrestor and airbox lid. All these together add around 7 HP. Very nice thing for an ATV manufacture to do. The Power Commander (PCIII) is a fuel controller that allows you to map the fuel at any given RPM via a laptop computer. You have much more control and it is what you should use with an aftermarket exhaust and especially new cams, porting, piston ect. With a PC III you will have to use a dynamometer to tune your quad or download a map for the specific set-up for your bike.

Here are items from Yoshi for the LT-R

Actually it it a very nice thing for them to do for themselves. They are making $40 just to let you use a map that is already loaded into the computer. If the really wanted to be nice they would just put a switch or button on the quad stock, or at least only charge a couple of bucks for a switch or button that could be added. JMO
