Actually it it a very nice thing for them to do for themselves. They are making $40 just to let you use a map that is already loaded into the computer. If the really wanted to be nice they would just put a switch or button on the quad stock, or at least only charge a couple of bucks for a switch or button that could be added. JMOA Cherry Bomb or CRBM is a device that you plug in a pigtail on the ATV and it accesses a second fuel map stored on the EFI controller. This second map allows you to pull the spark arrestor and airbox lid. All these together add around 7 HP. Very nice thing for an ATV manufacture to do. The Power Commander (PCIII) is a fuel controller that allows you to map the fuel at any given RPM via a laptop computer. You have much more control and it is what you should use with an aftermarket exhaust and especially new cams, porting, piston ect. With a PC III you will have to use a dynamometer to tune your quad or download a map for the specific set-up for your bike.
