I believe on the YFZ you retard either the intake or exhaust cam one tooth and it makes more power on the top end. I think it's the same settings as their dirt bike motors. Seems like you should be able to do it on the KFX if it isn't like that from the factory. Anybody have any knowledge on the subject?

I believe you can use the KX cams. The LTR450 showed nice power increases when using the dirtbike cams in that.

The Crower Power cam is indeed a KX cam that will work VERY well in the KFX. Those are available now.

PM me for more details.

Actually....
The cams are different. DB cam when used in our quads has little bottom end pull from intake side.
And no notible improvements on exhaust either. Crower has an intake cam "quad" version that will
boost your bottom and pull throughout the power range. No map 4 PC yet either. Working on it ...
The trick is he needs a piston for a couple of weeks. Then we'll be kickin some roost for sure. Anybody
here willing to part with a piston and/or near Lake Elsinore ?

AS I stated above, the cam profiles are different. The cam crower has available is the same victory cam from the KX cam, at least that is what Dan told me specifically, I am not sure if he has changed that in teh past week or so. The Victory cams do increase bottom and mid range with superior throttle response.

Wo needs the piston? crower? please post, I will send them a piston, lets get this bike cooking, PDR, or anyone else, please post any info that you have about DB vs ATV, I did read the post about someone that used the DB (intake) cam (crower kxf450f vicktory) from the KXF450F, is there an ATV cam? intake? or Exhaust? this is news to me?
Don`t recall any info about exhaust cam he was using? DB crower intake and stock exhaust cam? or was the Exhaust cam changed out too? if so was the Exhaust cam the DB virsion? or other? or stock KFX cam?
I will find the post on this and see if the exhaust side was changed?
Has any one else changed cams yet??

I spoke with dan at crower and he said that it is a dirtbike cam that they grind to their own specs. I am ordering one and will give a ride report after my next race because I am getting killed by the other quads in flat out speed in my district.
