I am actually upset they are releasing it that early. If it's a 2008 model then they should release it in 2008, or better in 2009!

I've heard Yamaha has been testing F.I. 450's for close to a year now and might make two versions of the 450 available for 08. And while I haven't heard anything about a revised 450 from Honda, I have heard that they have been developing and testing another sport ATV for quite some time now. And KTM (Polaris) has probably the "baddest" 450 coming out for 08....

We will see. Things are looking good for the high performance ATV market. I hear the Raptor 700 injection is alomost a DIRECT fit.

Some times i wish i would have waited for the KFX450 but then again i like the PRO bikes not that junkie ass stock one. I just got my DW issue today and they had an article in there about yammis new yfzshee it looks like a POS imo.

Considering that the Kawi 450 dirt bike engine is a wonderful engine I can only imagine adding F.I. to it will only improve the overall power and response of this torquey engine (have you ever ridden a KX450F?). Adding F.I. to this engine should increase the power if nothing else. I have never seen a engine in the cycle or automotive world that didn't gain power with the addition of F.I. So I'm expecting Kawi to at least as much stock HP & torque than the compition. But remember all the 450's are great and powerfull engines and your choice shouldn't come down to the engine (unless you do a lot of riding in different elevations where F.I. will save you a lot of time and headaches) but should come down to handling preferences, ergonomics, is reverse an asset, price, and other facts not related to the engine. There really are no bad choices in the 450 ATV class.

lol i'm not subscribed to dirt wheel i only got QUAD magazine...but this could really be nice atv if it would have the phazer engine...it pull 80hp in stock form and its a 500cc engine...the polaris predator is a 500 and i think its not over 50 hp...i think its 42 but i'm really not sure about it...perhaps this engine a little to big but with 80 hp...could be interesting
