I just got rid of a 04 LTZ 400 and an 05 TRX 450 with cam,pipe, etc and picked up 2 white KFX450's. First trip out- I think these quads blow. My wife wanted a faster quad and I think my 05 Honda was much faster. I sure hope the after market world can work wonders. Does anyone have REAL head to head comparisons with either the Suz450 of Yam450?? Leave the Raptor out of it for now.

You know you red riders really make me laugh. Of course your piped, cam and whatever else you have will be faster than a stock KFX. I am sure the handling of the KFX is waaay better than you 05 TRX or any TRX for that matter.

Even though at the moment i ride red. i still say the stock kfx will beat a stock trx. i also think after the kfx gets a pcIII, airbox eliminator, and a Dasa exhaust, the kfx will beat a heavily modified trx.

I stopped by the dealer the other day that I bought my 06 LTR from and they had a black KFX450.. WOWZERS!!! good looking. I'm seriously thinkin of selling my wifes 400 and upgrading her.. little does she know that I'd be doing it for me too .. I'd be the happiest guy around if I could ride the Zuke and KFX anytime I wanted....

If you read the entire post, you would have noticed that I was requesting comments regarding head to head info with other 450's - not comments from Michigan riders that only ride 2 months out of the year and have never seen 3rd gear or higher - by the way THERE IS 5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There are a lot more than Michigan riders here. Speaking of Michigan riders we have everything here, dirt, sand you name it. So the only comment I can make to you is if your not going to say something positive please go back to the org.

I believe the negativity started with your comments and your cute litte salution saying " your stupid". Still no comment regarding people you can coment on direct comparisons based on actual riding experience rather that what the read from the mags. By the way, the TRX was the first year built by Honda which tend to be very conservative company with initial development. The motor was very de-tuned and the cam that I added only made it comperable to other 450s. To say that it was worked is an overstatement. PS - as to your handling comment - the TRX "SEEMED" to be much lighter and better handling - at least in the dunes anyway.

I would like to hear actual reports of stock for stock head to heads though.

Yeah, I thinking things went wrong when you appeared on KXF450r forum and stated that these quads blow. Not the best way to start out here. As far reports are concerned, you are the best judge of your own Quads. Do your own head to head and let's us know what you find out. Go out find some TRX, YAM and LTRs and line them up. I try every weekend to line against Honda,Suz, and Yam.

My Bone stock KFX will beat a bone stock LTR. I can pretty much say that. I should have dyno sheets with a few runs on them this weekend.
