I have a 2009 KFX 450r. I bought my mods(the big 3), a dmc dual full exhaust, a fci intake and a juice box pro. After getting it installed it ran perfect for 2 months. I currently just got it powdercoated and upon putting it back together it's been running hot after about 5-8 min of riding. The guy who put it back together said it was idling funny so he adjusted. I thought he may have messed it up by adjusting the idle so I set it down to 0 and then backed it off 22 clicks. It still seems to be doing the same thing. Any suggestions on what could be wrong? Thanks.
Thanks for the quick response. This is my 1st time riding it since it was put back together. The radiator is definitely clean and free of debris. Yes the fan comes after about 5-8 minutes. I will check to make sure the radiator is full when I get to the quad tomorrow. It was running perfect before the powddrcoating but now it's not
hey guys my quad runs about ten to twelve laps around the track then it bogs out and quits. I let it sit and it fires back up but I haven't been driving it much because I want to fix the problem I'm not sure if the fan is coming on or not any ideas? I checked the fuse its good
