Brand new KFX450r, black and white model, with about 2 hrs on it. Has IMS nerfs and front bumper, and also the shocks revalved by Derisi Racing for a much softer ride than the stocker has. Other than that it is bone stock in brand new condition! I will have the pink slip shortly. My loss is your gain, most are going for around $8K OTD. $7500 obo

i'm not sure where everyone else is buying them ,but i just got mine for $6300 and $6615 OTD with 5%tax.you guys are getting took to the cleaners.[/b]

It depends on the area you live in mainly. I know people who work for kawai that cant buy them that cheap.. I believe his "asking" price is plenty fair for a quad that a lot of people are having a hard time even finding in a dealer.

The quad is located in Southern Ca and will meet half way just about anywhere in Ca, Az, Nv.
Please keep in mind the obo!! I wasn't asking how much everyone got theirs for. Obviously some will do better than others. The shock are revalved for 150 to 175 lb, but the guys at derisi are awesome, 100% satisfaction guarantee.

If you dont mind me asking, why are you sellng your new KFX450R?

Jeff[/b]
To be honest, had high hopes for the Kawi. I purchased without riding with intentions in racing the Stock A class in the WORCS series that I was the points leader in on a borrowed Suzuki. Needless to say, without mods to the suspension and probably engine work, it won't beat anything on the market. Point blank in stock form THE SUSPENSION SUCKS!!!! I attempted revalving to no avail, I made it about 1 lap before I pulled off in embarrasment!

Ouch man thats harsh. Wasnt the kawi marketed as a xc quad though, not a mx quad? I dont ride on the track, but for trails and stuff the kfx kills the other three and the suspension felt fine to me, nothing special but not that bad.

Sorry to hear that. I've been hearing that Kawi hit the nail on the head with the suspension. I would expect that it out handles most other stock 450's. Thanks for your honest opinion.

That is what I have heard from some VERY experienced XC racers, that this is the best handling stock quad ever for XC. I am going to pick mine up here in about a half hour so soon I will find out.

I like running stock classes to, as this shows more about the quad and racer and not how much money in mods it's got. And I have heard mixed reviews on the suspension, with most saying it's to stiff and not enough travel. You better find something tho, as Jeff Butuzzi on that Outlaw is kicking butt in the stock A class.

Well, I sent my shocks to Santo Derisi Racing,(Pro GNCC Racer), he hated it also, said the valving was something he hasn't seen since the 80's. I'm sure everyone will have their own opinion, Mine is that in stock form it SUCKS! I just bought my Outlaw 525 last night, rode it today, watch out Jeff Bertuzzi!!

The 06 Fox suspension IMHO is better then the 07 RydeFX, but the Outlaw sure has a sweet ride. Predatorowners.com is a very good spot for info. What mods can you do in the WORCS stock class. Here in GNCC we have a lot of leeway? Also a JDjetkit really wakes up the 525 as they come lean from the factory. But as you allready know, it has tons of power allready.
