Trouble turning over, will click real loud Under front plastics/handle bars .

I have a 2012 kfx that has been a nightmare , I have recently had all the valves , valves seats , piston rings , cdc chip , replaced , now it seems like it isn’t getting enough power from the battery , because the neutral light Goes dim when it is trying to start . Then eventually makes a loud clicking noise under the front plastics/handle bars . Does anyone know where I should start .

What is the age of the battery? Check the battery with a voltmeter, fuel injection doesn't run well on low voltage. Mine would do this when my battery wouldn't hold the capacity.

Like he said it sounds like the battery is bad.
Check the cables as well

I found out the battery was no good , but all the lights will still come on just dim out whenever trying to start, I also found out the clicking noise was coming from the 30 amp fuse that’s on the radiator , but the fuse is fine , could the battery be strong enough to kick the fuel pump on , an all the lights but not start the quad , or could my problem be with the clicking on the fuse box ? Thanks for the advice .

When a battery ages it can still have the voltage but not the capacity to start. Put a volt meter on the battery and try starting it. You will most likely see the voltage drop dramatically. Fuel pumps and lights take less power to run.

Yep it’s probably putting out low cranking amps.

Replace it and go from there. The efi system needs a good battery to function correctly

Alright , I really appreciate the advice it’s been a big help , would it matter that I couldn’t jump start the quad , it would just do the same thing when I tried jump starting it yesterday .

Yeah it matters. Mine did the same exact thing with the 30amp fuse block. It got worse until the bike just clicked. I took my front plastic off and wiggled the 3 wires and the plug and it would start right up. It got so bad that I had to stick my hand up in there every time to start it. It was a brand new 30amp fuse block and a new wire harness. Mine turned out to be just one of the small connectors in the plug want tight enough and it was a simple fix from there.

However, the battery being weak will do the same thing. If ur jumping it and still having the problem.....its likely to be a bad connection right there.
I turned on my key in neutral and hit the start button, it would click and that was it so I held the start button in and wiggled the wires and it would start.

With the recent valve job..Too much compression & cam chain too tight causing extreme drag on the motor

Double check the decompression mechanism & spring on the exhaust valve to be working properly...!!

and make sure the Cam chain tensioner has been installed properly...see picture
