Starting 08 kfx450r

Hello everyone I'm new here. Have a question. When I go to start my quad my battery dies down to nothing. I turn the ket off wait a few seconds go to start it has juice then dies down. Repeat, repeat, repeat. What could be causing this any help is appreciated.

Does it have a hard spot when it cranks?

That could be broke decomp spring.

08 KFX450r- DASA, FCI, Stage 2 Hotcams, Wiseco Programmer, Procom, Dynatek Coil, 6K HID, 7" LED Light Bar.

No its the same the entire time while cranking.

Make sure the battery is fully charged...12.8 volts standard...!!

If the problem continues with a full charged battery....?

Does the ( far left) F.I light remain ON or flashing while trying to start...???

Beand new battery. And no the light does not stay on.

If the battery is below 12v the DFI/electronics will error & not start...!!

Does it have spark & fuel. If no... check the vehicle down sensor...!

Have you check your valve clearance....??

Valve Clearance: between cam and valve lifter
Standard:
Exhaust 0.17 ∼ 0.22 mm (0.0067 ∼ 0.0087 in.)
Inlet 0.10 ∼ 0.15 mm (0.0039 ∼ 0.0059 in.)
If the valve clearance is not within the specified range,
adjust it.
