Procom/Blackbox + Dobeck EFI controller?

Have anyone try this?

I had my kfx for some years dealing with the battery draining issue and turning off the kfx in neutral for all these years but Im tired of this and wanted to know if I can solve this by buying only a Procom/blackbox ECU. im on a budget and trying not to throw lot of money on the kfx.

My existing set up is a Dasa system, cfm intake box and a dobeck EFI controller without internal modifications on the engine.

Thanks

Procom or blackbox? Are they the same? Is there any quality/performance difference between them?

Thanks

They are likely the same.

I would just buy the procom though.

Hi again, I just installed the procom ecu and removed the dobeck efi controller. I decided to remove the dobeck efi controller to sell it. I play with it using 7,8 and 9 set point. The quad revs a bit higher now and i like that.

On 9 it feels a bit off in terms of responsiveness and on high rpms there were some flames
On 8 I saw a bit of smoke coming out of the exhaust
On 7 i belive it was the best but im not sure if it might to lean so thats why im trying to get some feedback

9 was likely rich.
7 should be good.

Rev limiter is increased. But kfx doesn’t make power with more rpms.

Cfm Intake definitely doesn’t benefit from more rpms like fci does
