The one thing I notice though is that my battery seems to be very slowly dying....it was brand new and fully charged last week. Around 13.7v ....it sat for 3 days and it was down to 12.9v.....I rode for like 45 min and it lost enough juice to not want to start....it will turn over but backfire and not start?
Would this be a regulator?

Check your valve clearance...!!

Valve Clearance: between cam and valve lifter
Standard:
Exhaust 0.17 ∼ 0.22 mm (0.0067 ∼ 0.0087 in.)
Inlet 0.10 ∼ 0.15 mm (0.0039 ∼ 0.0059 in.)

Valve clearance is good.
The brand new battery started out at 13.9v and is now down to 12.7v.
I have been working a good deal and havent had much time to mess with it but what I can say is it seems to be charging fine when running but when it sits overnight the battery drains some each time. I'm going to measure the voltage and try unhooking one thing at a time and see if I can figure out what it is. Unless there is a better method?

I'm close to giving up on this platform!

I have enough gas in my tank to submerge the pump halfway and if I try to hit the throttle quickly it wants to dye but if I tilt the tank forward with my hand and submerge the pump it revs hard.....ahhh!

Ok! Dynojet has a PCV Firmware update to change the PPR rate to .5 to work with the Procom if you want to use them together.... here's a thread to help https://www.kfx450hq.com/forums/engi...-autotune.html

Quote from thread... What is a bit strange is Frank's versions are 1.0 and 0.5 pulse per revolution, but the version Dynojet sent me are 1.0 and 2.0. I used the 1.0 to fix the problem.

You'll need to contact for the firmware update to change the Pulse-per-revolution-rate or PPR rate Dynojet Tech support Powercommander Sales Support

Ok I'm impressed with the power.....I've spent months and 3 or 4 grand at this point building this and I'll post pics and quite a list of mods when I've reached my first stable Platoe. I'm ready to jump off....I'll get the +3 stroker but I still want to run 93....what's the highest comp ratio with 93, a procom, a pcv with autotune, at 1500ft mean height above sea level, and an education in the tuning process but no dyno. I'll go big bore if I can get more power but run 93.

Im not having much luck with dynojet...heres my convo

Details:
I am using a procom ECU.
I need a firmware update for a PPR rate to .5 because the procom fires the ignition on every revolution.

Power Commander V

Kawasaki
Vehicle Model:
Kfx450r
Vehicle Year:

Hello Cody,

* * * * * * *We do not actually control the ignition on the vehicle, we are just modifying signals sent from the ECM. If we are getting spark on every revolution, this vehicle most likely is using a waste spark system which is not uncommon and does not necessarily cause an issues. If you have any other questions, please let me know.

Thank you,

[My reply]
It does use waste spark and it is causing an issue. Ive read in so many places that theres a firmware update that i can get from dynojet to make it read every other pulse so it will work correctly. I have 2 afr widebands reading from separate power sources and the pcv is dumping twice the amount of fuel needed because it thinks my engine is running twice the rpms that it actually is. I know you dont control the ignition so you cant control the incoming pulses but you do control the power commander and its the fuel thats messed up....not the actual spark plug ignition. I cant cut the fuel by half either because it doesnt work that way, i need it to fire the injector on ever other pulse.

Hello Cody,

* * * * * * * * We are able to only able to modify what signal we display, we cannot intercept a signal to stop it from going forward. I think there might have been a mis-communication as to what the Firmware does. If you have any other questions, please let me know.

Thank you,

Danny Boardman

Usually a 12.8 works well on 91-93

Stroker crank raises compression from 12 to 12.5

So 93 works fine
