well for fronts my fav is maxxis razor super good tire!
ive used the holeshot hd s in the rear last year and they were great but they wore down real quick!
i may try the razor rears this spring!
for a super long lasting mud busting snow ripping awsome tire my favorite rear is the mud shark!these are awsome tires they run around 70 each but are well worth it!
and they have them in 21x12x9 which is great for woods!

I find it hard to find any fault in plain jane old Maxxis Razr tires... front and rear.
They are great and great for the price thanks to the Razr2.
They get good traction, wear a long time and are tough.
And even if you prefer the ITP holeshot grip on hard surfaces, you can still grove them like holeshots... and up front I think you'll prefer their more solid center tread in the sandy soil. And you can also groove the front knobs for hard pack bite, and grove between the knobs to make them more like the Razr2 or GNCC.
I put GNCC's on my Kawi though... but the jury is still out on how I like them overall.
If you go that route, go with the 22" front and 21" rear though.
I have the 22" fronts and 20" rears... and the rears are only just 20" tall full of air with full tread... and the part I did not realize is they are only 10" wide. From a distance it looks like you just have stock tires.
Clearance and flotation will be better with the 21" and you'll have more choice on air pressure.

Stock wheels are OK.
Any beadlock wheels are better and make tire changes easier.
Tire changes are expensive if you have to pay for mounting.
It's cheaper to buy a manual tire changer from harbor freight or cheaper in the long run just to get beadlock wheels to make the tire changes easy at home.
I'm going to try to do a combo purchase next time and get tires mounted on beadlocks.

I have maxxis razr 6ply tires 22in front and 20in rear, and douglas quad-rok wheels stock size. They work great for me down here in Georgia running xc and woods racing. The razrs are good for for all conditions and they are great in mud.

Front wheels : HiPer Tech 3 single beadlocks
Rears: HiPer Tech 3 Dual Beadlocks, FREE tire changes .
As for tires, I liked the ITP HD's in the rear and the Razr 2's up front when I had my 400ex.
Ive heard that the new Kenda Kutter XC's are pretty good, might want to look into those.

I run the stock size GNCC's on mine and I love them, especailly the fronts. What a difference in handling. The tread is a little softer than the Razors, and probably won't last as long, but they hook well in everything in Pa.
