Cutting my Subframe

Does anyone know where I can send my subframe off to so it can be cut to lower my center of gravity? I feel like the Kaw sits way to high for me. Any help would be appreciated. I don't want to cut it myself either lol.

Walsh Racecraft would be somewhere to try. I can't remember if they just make their own or it they'll cut yours as well. Otherwise, a local welding shop can do it. Just have 'em cut off a bit and have 'em weld on nuts to thread some heim joints into. Hopefully someone else can chime in w/measurements on how much to cut off.

As for issues this can cause you: Exhaust and intake mis-alignment, subframe to swingarm clearance issues, muffler to rear caliper clearance issues, and so on.

Have you checked that your ride heights are right? What type of riding do you do? If you haven't looked at lowering your height via suspension, check this link out: Suspension Setup Info . If you have any questions give Nick @ Jet Suspension a call and tell him Nathan sent you his way. He can tell you anything you need to know about suspension set-up and he's a great guy!

walsh builds one, idk if they cut and modify them! and um bro there will be one HUGE problem with this probably, exhaust and intake mounts will be way off from stock so bends and stuff would be off

i did it and everything bolted back up just fine! brought it to a local machine shop and had 1/2" cut out of the lower part and re-welded... definitely worth the 60 bucks!

Well Walsh doesn't do this, Adam ( AZkfx450rider ) got a hold of Nate Walsh and he said they don't do them. So BCS is next, if they don't anymore, then I guess a machine shop will be the last stop.

If I turn out wrong, ask Knaffie...

I think this is his pic I have a copy of in my folder.
(this is how I'd like mine... adjustable)
