Well I sent BCS an e mail becaue no one would pick up the phone, so I should find out here within the next few days the price.
Does lowering the subframe really make that big of a difference or should I just leave it as is ( stock ) ? I ride MX also.

Everyone that does it loves it.
And I think you would especially like it for MX.
I haven't decided rather to do mine or not.
But if I do, it will be adjustable from stock down to max.
That way if I don't like it, there's no foul.
I am only afraid to do it because I do XC/Trail and do a lot of transitioning from sitting to standing, and like it as-is for that aspect.

Don't sweat it bro lol.
I'll do the adjustable so I can adjust it to my liking, not just cut some off and then hate it, then have to buy a new subframe.

hmmm someone had a walsh one for sale on here at one point, have no idea where! lol and
Yea duster for xc id probably stay stock if you sit/stand a lot in mx its better to be a little lower as most of us sit on on the foot peg when we lean off, so having a little lower would help out with transitions

Yeah...
It some ways I like it and in other ways I find it weird and it bugs me.
I think I need to drop mine down and then taper my foam thicker in the saddle.
This way I don't mess up my peg-to-seat relationship...
But I get that seat down out of my way on the bouncy downhills...
And I get the benefit of my theory on what this does for the handling...
I think it lessens the subframe's leverage ratio on the bike.
Anyways I think I want mine just like this on the subframe, seat foam and seat cover.

Well BCS wants $125 + shipping both ways and its adjustable. I don't think thats a bad price. Will be sending it their way soon.

Not positive that Walsh does them but I would be willing to bet they do.
I have a factory Kawi lowered subframe on my race bike (Creamer's 09 practice bike) and a BCS adjustable subframe on my practice bike. BCS modified my factory unit and although I don't remember the cost, I know it wasn't too expensive.
Depending on how much is cut-off or what height you set an adjustable unit at, YOU WILL have a few mods to make. You will have to improvise when mounting the exhaust and possibly the rear shock remote res. Also, there may be some minor cuts and tweaks that need to be made to the plastics in order for them to sit flush. You most likely will have issues with the seat and need to relocate/rework the mounts. Walsh Pro Pin seat mounts will help!!!
Both my bikes are mint but I did have some work to do when changing out plastics and putting a new exhaust on my race bike. Creamer's spec was -2" off the subframe. While it does squat the ass-end down nice, it made for additional workload.
If you are racing, DO NOT half-ass the mods. If you do, you will more than likely destroy your can after it works it's way free from however you mounted it and smashes the rear axle. I have seen it happen too many times from guys w/ lowered subframes and half-ass mods.
Hope this helps!!!

Walsh sells their own adjustible subframe. Goes for 350 i believe. They do not modify the stock subframe as said above.

Walsh does not do this mod. I probably won't do this until winter during my rebuild so I have time to do all the modifications so nothing is half assed..i hate rigging things up, i like doing it right the first time. Thanks for the info fellas.
