Which adjustment is which??
So which screw does which function on the kfx450?
The screw on top of the shocks is rebound? or compression?
The screw on the bottom is which?
And what is this "high speed" adjustment? and whee is IT?
Is the rear shock same as the fronts? comp/ rebound.
I havent messed with mine yet, and it says NOTHING in the owners manual about which is which.
On my xr650r the front forks are opposite of the rear shock for comp / rebound adjustments.

On the front...
The top adjuster is compression (stock is 8 clicks counter-clockwise)
The bottom adjuster is rebound (stock is 9 clicks counter-clockwise)
On the rear....
The top adjustment is compression (stock is 11 clicks counter-clockwise)
The bottom adjustment is rebound (stock is 7 clicks counter-clockwise)
And the nut that surrounds the top adjustment is high speed compression (stock is 1.25 turns counter-clockwise)
If you want compression harder, turn clockwise, softer counter-clockwise.
They also address rebound as hard/soft... which is incorrect...
Rebound is either fast or slow... and for that reason I can't remember which way to tell you to turn.

Clockwise on rebound is slower, or "a harder feel"

Great info!
Thanks a bunch!
This thing rides way to rough for what i'm used to, and need to soften it up a bit.
Of topic , but does anyopne know the part number for a platinum or irridium version on the cpr8eb-9 spark plug for these?
If there IS such a thing??

Stick with a regular NGK plug, no need to get fancy.
