What i did was put a lift under the engine skid first. Then lifted the rear grab bar by hand enough to wiggle the bolt out. Then take the hole linkage apart to get the shock out. you have to work at it by lifting and twisting to get it out. hope this helps Chris

I lifted the quad on my ATV jack stand and started with the top bolt. It will come out I promise, use a long punch and gently tap it out of the hole. It will move slightly crooked to clear the frame but it will come out fine. The bottom linkage like 450racinfool said has to come apart including the 2 long bolts holding all the shit to the frame. Then pull the shock out from the bottom. Helps to have the quad on the grab bar. It wont come just straight out either you have to twist it and work it a bit.

What did you get a new shock? I just anstalled a MOTOWOZ rear myself about a week ago.
