front end really unstable
ok so my ball joint is replaced and thats all good, but when i start hitting higher speeds it gets real wobbly and unstable, now i did notice the inner treads on my front tires are more worn than the outers, so could be off thats is causing this?

you should look at the front wheel bearing. grab the top of the tire and wiggle back and forth.

They might not have adjusted the toe-in correctly. Make sure both tires are pointed straight...

The same from the front of the tire as the back. If there's a difference, it will wear one side more than the other. (If you can measure the back distance...)

Slaytanic if you read the service manual it says you want toe in not straight. Mine was toe out when i got it home and high speeds sucked balls until i adjusted it. However straight is better than toe out and i bet thats how yours is set up right now.

Toe in will give you more stability (less twitch) at high speeds, but slower response to handlebar input. I like running the quad toe-in though because at dead on or out...these things are twitchy beyond belief!
So...check your toe. There was already a link posted on this thread to do so. If that doesn't work, check your wheel bearings, tightness on your ball joints and steering stem bushings, etc. Also...what tires are you running and what are your soil conditions. I've learned that Razr II's on sandy soil are twitchy beyond belief! It'll float all over the place!
