I counted the test on the idler gear and it is 34 tooth. The bike is 30 tooth. So unless the quad spur gear is smaller or something the gears would never match up. And my understanding is the quad tranny is different than the bike tranny.

Different ratio for the shorter kick lever....

Look at the gear and give me the part number that's on it. It should be on a side near the collar of the gear....????

Yeah, this might not be the last Kawasaki I buy...

But it will probably be the last new one I buy FROM Kawasaki...

I've had warranty problems with them also.
But since it happened I'm glad it went down inside the regular 1 year warranty...
Right before I shelled out the cash for the extended warranty... or bought any of their parts.

I took the money I had set aside for the extended warranty and bought aftermarket parts to replace the bad Kawasaki parts that should have been covered under warranty.
