it all depends on what you plan on doing at the dunes . a v type paddle is good for puting around a strait blade for more speed and throwing sand . then from there it is how much $ is in your budget . if you dont dune a lot the gbc sand deivils are good for 100 a pair . and if dune a lot save for some skat trak hauler 6 paddle will be good for stock bike and even with a few motor mods . they are like 230 a pair but they will make your quad way faster then a v paddle .

6 paddle extremes are what I was recommended by Fullerton sand sports and they've been great. I do just general dune riding and long hill climbs. Used to run sand stars which seemed to be too much paddle sometimes.

I have a full set of ITP Sand Stars...front 22x7x10..rear 22x11x10..you will want to run a 13 tooth on the front sprocket with these rears. These are LIKE NEW..they will come on wheels(.190) for you too! LIKE NEW!...The 22" rears are much better in fluffy sand, you do not get stuck near as easy..and they get better hook up. They would be great for a stock or slightly modified KFX450.. $300 shipped...I may even have a 13T sprocket you can have!

well the thing people dont look at is wheels and sizes, for instance i used to run a 10 inch weel with sand 22 inch sand gears, recently i dropped to 21 inch haulers on an 8 inch wheel and overall its just faster

and for anyone that says straight paddles are only good for dragging is FULL OF BS... why is that? cause i shred the dunes in 4th gear and have no trouble turning and im running straight paddles

straight paddles offer better hookup and bite, if you go with haulers(although more pricy) i would go with 8 inch wheels and 6 paddles o nthe tire, will give you less rotating mass and will be good for stock, i run 8 paddle and im thinking of dropping to a 7, and i have dasa,fci,pc3 and stg 2 cams

skat trak haulers in as they are buffed(shaves weight) all of the other brands are molded and weigh more, id go with 21x12x8 6 paddle skat track haulers on some douglas .190 wheels(if you dont jump you can get away with a thinner wheel but if your like me and like catching air, thinner wheels can bend)
