Talking New KFX owner in North Texas

I've been reading the forum for a long time and just jumped in and purchased a new (to me) KFX. I grew up riding and racing in California and always rode green so I have a soft spot for Kawi. I haven't ridden at all in years and have been dying to get back into the sport.

The bike isn't even here yet, but I bought one of Joe Haavisto's (NEATV-MX #1) 2009 Motoworks/Walsh/Fox race bikes. I figured I don't really have the time at the moment for a build of my own so I looked for bikes that were good to go right away. I'll be riding local tracks and some fast trail riding and hope to make an appearance or two in the TQRA 30+ motocross class once I chip enough rust off. A pic of the bike as it sits at Joe's house is attached. Waiting for the shipper is going to kill me. -Keith

Thanks, I'll post some pics when it arrives. Looking forward to getting the suspension dialed and getting some seat time. Its funny- It needs nothing but I'm already thinking of the little things I'll change to make it "mine"

Hate to post "dirty" pics with so many beautiful KFX's on this site but my Kawi finally arrived and here it is wearing a little Texas clay before the pressure washer. I was very impressed with how much power the built motor is putting out- she's a beast!
