+1 for DASA posting on a forum for some dummy who doesn't know how to tune his bike.
but -100 for hurting their rep like that.
In the end: after everyone reads this who is on the fence about the company, they will lose a shit-ton of potential buyers. I, for one, will never buy a pipe from this company after reading how this was drug on for 8 pages.
+100 for FuelATV stepping up though! glad to see a supplier do something like that... never would have expected it.

Well when in business 1 wrong can break 100000 rights, and it just happens that one person decided to point the finger where it shouldnt have been pointed, and that person cause a lot of damaged reputation to that company, for no reason, think of it this way, your car reccomends to have so much oil in it, if your oil is low and ur car starts smoking, but you continue to drive it that way, are you going to point the finger at the car company? No, same with the exhaust these materials are not made to withstand anything and everything, they are designed to handle so much heat, running so lean that your making more heat, is not the companys fault for having a failure, i can bet you money if the picture was taking and there was justa blown out hole (without the burning of the sticker) it would have been replaced, but there was visible evidence the pipe was not being run under conditions it should have

I agree DASA should have stepped up and replaced it just to gain a good customer service rep... weather it was there fault or not. it wouldn't have costed them much and they would have gotten a lot of people to buy there product who were undecided. I for one will not buy there product now and will look elsewhere. sure seems and looks cheap to me. even lean and running hot it burns a hole in the aluminum can..in a extremely lean condition, I would think the piston would be melted 1st and the motor would of had a melt down.. I know the exhaust gets very hot but that far from the motor and no damage to the piston/cylinder and the silencer melted? sounds like faulty materials to me. just my .02 worth

umm the enginge parts are designed for higher heat as they are going to be taking more heat, u cant blame dasa for someone running lean, if u dont know how to properly use a product than dont bash them for it, my buddy has beat the helll out of his dasa and has no problems, but go elsewhere the hp dont mean anything unless ur racing

That's the whole point hoss... as to why a fellow would be pissed to have this happen and Dasa didn't cover it.
