Similar to the Razr rear... just a tad faster because of the "bug" lug in some terrains.
I'll end up with a set myself someday I'm sure.
They are on my short list of tires to try.
I would already have a set in place of the last set of Razr tires I bought (on my Polaris) but I usually buy in sets of 4, and reducing steering effort was a big goal I wanted to achieve with tire selection.... and at the time I was a little 'iffy' on the appearance of the fronts in the stock photos I saw online.

my boss has a set of these on his banshee, they hookup nice, the only problem we found was the compound was a little to soft on the knobbies and it was actually tearing chunks out of the patterns

Oh... and I guess I should clarify a little on what I said about the wear... and terrain.
Me and my terrain are a good example... and I'll explain...
For me, tires with either a harder compound, larger lug, or more solid lug do better for me. For example I really like the Holeshot HD rear tire (except weight). But the softer knob compound, and the less solid lug with sizable grooves makes them not near as good on wear... because my terrain causes the lugs to wear in strange tit sort of way, and I have a good bit of issue with "chunking" on the lugs.
In other words, rather than wearing off flat, they wear at a funny angle from the biting edge of the knob up at an angle to the groove... I'd have to snap a picture I guess.... And when I say chunking, I mean I rip off chunks of the lugs.
And these are on the rear of my least powerful machine.
On the other hand, the GNCC's I don't like as much have a lot larger lug and wear better in comparision on a more powerful machine. And the more solid knobs with no sort of grooves in them wear really well also. Kenda tires are another that might wear well for me.
But in the end it will be hard to tell much difference between the wear of an Ambush and a Razr... And then finally they have a bit more beefy sized lug... and for the price difference between the two, if they do wear slightly quicker than a Razr it's hard to find any room for complaints.

thank you guys for the info my boys saved up the money for these tires. I am proud of them for saving the money to buy them thereselvs. They liked the pattern and wanted holeshots so this is as close as we could get with the money they had.
