It most likely has some oil deposits on the top end and your plug is probably fouled. The smoke was from the extra oil there is in 2 stroke gas. I just hope you didn't cause more damage. Throw some sea foam in your gas and run it for a while, then drain the gas again and put a new plug in. If this doesn't work your next thing to check is the injector as it mighta got clogged. After that, if it's still not running right, it'll be time to pull the top end off for inspection.

You can damage your motor if you let it idle for long periods of "Time"...

Your motor's oil pump has very low pressure unless you rev the motor above 4000 RPMs to increase the oil pressure to 7-10 psi, more if you Rev higher...At full throttle i can get 35 psi short "Burst" for the oil pump clears the sump and needs to refill...

Due to the Scavenge style oil pump on the KFX450R...

And with-out enough oil pressure the piston nozzle not lubricating the piston wrist pin oil not flowing fast...causing engines to "over-heat" faster....And your coolant to overflow...

I have an oil cooler with a Pressure gauge a trail tech "vapor" monitoring oil temp and a super cooler with thermostat....

2 stroke oil in your motor isn't going to hurt anything.
Not unless it is a super rich oil mix like 20:1 or something...

Then it might gum up your plug or make you run the bike lean... because oil is not gas.
Yes it matters...

This is what it sounds like to me... and I hope you didn't run real lean.

Drain it all out, take injector out and clean it, replace spark plug, fill tank back with just gas, go ride and burn the oil out of the exhaust.

If it keeps on smoking, do a compression test.
