fmf 4.1 slip on questions

So was really looking in to getting a exhaust for my kfx 450 and was reading up on the fmf 4.1 slip on. It sounds like a good exhaust to get but it runs about $150 more than the other pipe for my quad. So was wandering If any one has any experience with the 4.1 and if it worth the $400 for it.

Not really. I use an fmf but went with the powercore 4. Really can't tell you what is different between the two cuz they say they do the same thing. I love my powercore and it sounds great power is nice. It missing a bit on top end but I would bet with the head pipe it would be there. If you want fmf get the powercore and save the cash for the head pipe.

$400 for a slip-on? Thats outrageous. Use that money and get a full system bud.

Ya I was looking around and reading up on full systems but I always got its a waste. If money to get the headera unless I plan on racing. Plus people sayed I would loose a little bit of bottom end power. I also was needing a fuel managment system you guys know of a good one at a desent price?

Hello, We have a couple of different slip-ons and full systems available less than 400.00. The Jardine RT99 is our best seller for the KFX450 followed by Sparks and then DASA. FMF makes a good exhaust now and they support a lot of local racers and have donated money to track owners in the past. They seem to support our sport for the most part. We have several exhaust systems on our website on sale if you get a chance go through our site. Exhaust - ATV Performance Parts
