Not sure if I had an over heating issue or what? My wife and I each have the KFX450 -they are still completely stock. We took them to Little Sahara this past week-90 degrees plus. During a ride, my wifes bike would not start after we took a break for water. Same ride, same speed etc. Sent back for a tow strap and it started after about 45 minutes. It made an electrical/grinding sound when hitting the start button - no mechanical motor turning. Could this be a overheating protection feature? I was starting to like these bikes!

My first thought also - had a battery pack to start the bike but it started on its own in about 45 minutes. Surface charge during that time??
