Packing my pipe?

I have never packed a pipe before and was wondering how do you do it? How much do you put in it?

I have the Dasa pipe do i just take the end cap off?

How do I know i have enough in there?

I have the extra packing pillow they gave me when i bought the pipe.

i ended up taking the whole canister off. i tried to only do the end cap but i couldn't get it packed correctly.
