If its not, someone on here is gonna get a really nice KFX at a great price and Ill buy a KTM or Honda. HP is a big deal when you get to A-class for MX. Holeshot is 40% of the race

Get a "REKLUSE" clutch! I've seen guys who have them jump 20 yards out of the hole on the start! Amazing!
Rekluse Motor Sports - z-Start Pro Clutch

thanks, I actually plan on getting one and have one on standby but its $500 and I am setting up all my suspension and the rest of my motor right now. I will have one before may

They seem amazing! I only rode a friends quad for about 5 minutes who has one & IT IS WEIRD! Definately will take some getting used to! But seeing him get the holeshot race after race is awesome!

Technically you're right. There's actually no such thing as horsepower.

Unless you are on a dynojet dyno... lol...

How does the box attach to the FCI tube?

Just wondering what the possibilites might be on running an FCI to my own custom box?

The fuel custom intake just kinda slips through the box. It isn't even an airtight seal, where the intake enters the box. You should be able to use a custom box. The fuel customs box is nice though, but yeah Im sure you could round up something to save you some money

i would give the money to Garrett for the box personally, but the intake w/o box comes with the front peice that mounts to the frame so you could build a box off of that metal peice in the front

Oh, it's not about the money. In fact, I hadn't even considered what I could save not getting the box until you all said...

I'm just wanting to do my own custom box. Now that I have paid more attention to the other one and all the detail, I've realized it's not the best tube to use for that really. A rubber tube would work better for what I have in mind.

So if you have never seen any dyno sheets that have been posted on here, how can you make assumptions that its only peak hp. Actually we have gained hp 80% percent of the curve and brought peak torque faster. It also holds torque longer. maybe you should do research before you state things.

lighten up garret, i wasnt stating facts just trying to explain what i am saying a little better. i was never bashing your product it had nothing to do with you product it was the fact that so many people are trying to get the highest hp numbers they can on a dyno.
