Always has to be NEGATIVE people! The point is, if i'm going to spend about the same amount of money between two things, obviously i'm gonna pick the better of the two, or in this case the one that puts out more power. I mean who wouldn't? It's just common sense! But you are right in the point that most people will never use it or have a need for it, but it sure is nice to have!

Yeah I understand the head pipe is where the real power comes from! I also hear it's not good to run the intake witkout the PCIII or some type of fuel controler... I fell into a great deal when I bought the slip-on. Local shop ordered for someone who decided they didnt want it. I paid $140 for it. I contacted HMF today about getting a head pipe from them as well. And have been looking around for a good deal on a PCIII! My question is on maps... Where can I find one for my setup? It's just plug & play correct? I have an 06 ZX-10r as well with a PCIII. So I am familiar with changing maps!

i have maps on my website for pc3, fci and dasa, or curtis sparks, they may be a tad rich for a slip on, i wouldnt run an intake with no pc3 tho

not being negative man just realistic. peak hp on a dyno at 9000rpm doesnt translate to being better or more ridable. if you are building a motor to try and make the biggest hp numbers you can thats one thing.i for one have never seen any print outs of intake comarisons nor have i seen any real world racing between the different intakes. all im saying is people are so fixated on peak hp numbers with these bikes. if we didnt need to have them put on a dyno to get them tuned in correctly nobody would care about numbers.

well it depends on the application you are using the bike for... this bike stock is way underpowered for my purposes and I hope its greatly improved after the build I am doing. If its not, someone on here is gonna get a really nice KFX at a great price and Ill buy a KTM or Honda. HP is a big deal when you get to A-class for MX. Holeshot is 40% of the race

Get a "REKLUSE" clutch! I've seen guys who have them jump 20 yards out of the hole on the start! Amazing!
