Finally got my shit figured out (Financially... Heh started a new job), and bought me a ContourHD (Just the 720P one, don't really need to shoot my rides/drag strip runs/general ridiculousness in FULL HD), and it's in the mail on it's way here. Got it from RPMGear on eBay; it was about $330 for the camera, a nice carrying case, an extra battery, and a standalone charger. Will post some video when I get the chance to use it.

Thanks ononewheel, it was your posts (And a whole bunch of 'research') that convinced me to go with the ContourHD. I just wonder how the sound transfers through the waterproof case they sell for it...

Didn't actually buy the waterproof case. Maybe in the future though.

So how water resistant is the ContourHD actually? Can you sort of rinse mud off of it, or clean it with a wet paper towel or something without wrecking it? Lots, lots of mud where I ride. I don't often get soaked head to toe with the really watery stuff (I.e get stuck in a hole, and spin the tires. Those Holeshot HDs really throw water/mud around), but it has happened once or twice. Hopefully, when it does, I won't have the Cam with me.
