Kfx450 vs ltr450

I like to know if the ltr450 is more fastest than the kfx450 both quad bone stock??
Yesterday I buy a ltr450 for my wife in a police auction, the quad look complete stock, stock exhaust, only I notice at first is a k&n filter but I make a test run with a friends and it's much faster than the kfx450 of my friends and then I run the ltr450 again with my kfx450 and the ltr still run much faster than my kfx with few mod like pc3,intake,full exhaust then I took the time to see in detail what have this ltr that make run like that, few minute later the only thing that I see is that the ltr have a trinity racing efi controler so what you think maybe have some internal work inside the motor or is normal run like that????

i believe the LTR is a race quad right off the floor......so it is set up to be fast....
friend of mine had a LTR that had some mods done topped out close 90 mph....was checked by radar gun!

Does anybody know what the top speed on a kfx450 is in bone stock form? I'm interested because i've heard 50-90mph. I know mine has gone 64.8 in a smooth sand wash in Mojave, but it doesn't have stock gearing.

That's pretty close to what my gps read when my kfx was stock.. 63-64 range.

All of the 450's are in the 60 mph range basically. None really run away from another too much. The LTR 450 w/ a controller and un-corked stock pipe is pretty fast, but shouldn't be faster than the KFX w/your mods. That being said...no matter how much HP you're putting down no 450 runs 90 mph w/o major gearing changes. It's have to have a ridiculously large front sprocket and ridiculously small rear. I'd have to run some calc's to see what speeds are attainable. Anyone know the output gear ratio in fifth?

Does the LTR have the Yoshi Cherry Bomb? Because thats supposedly a good mod for the LTR.

My stock Kfx with a gps on it went 72 mph. It was a slow climb from 68 to 72 but it got there. And i have raced quite a few ltrs and i dont think they are anything special. I have only lost to one in a race and it had a lot of motor work done.

stock for stock the kfx is a horrible quad and the ltr is faster. big 3 vs big 3 there not to much differnce. but the ltr having longer gears and being able to pull it takes the win IMO. Fully built vs fully built the ltr would own a kfx in the power department and handling. people are putting out serious HP with the suz wile they are not doing much on the KFX. My ltr with same mods my kawi had is way faster then the kawi. Longer gears much better top end. Now the ltr is even faster but thats a top secret project
