i have just installed a hfh bill ballance series pipe first off sounds frikkin awesome lol second at first it shot out black smoke but it also shoots out flames kinda cool but why next head pipe glows red

Do you have any kind of efi programmer? If not you are probably running lean.

yeah i have one i forgot to write it down i have the hmf optimizer preprogrammed for the pipe

The 450s run a little lean. And a little headpipe glowing is normal. I would say watch the temp light. It should smell funny at first too.
