you guys make me laugh. The admin does not have to do jack shit in this situation. He host the site for us. Oldfart took a chance, kfx450hq did not guarantee no one would get scammed. Did they? or did i miss the fine print. Old fart you got scammed, If you take this to the cops they cant do much for you as there was no proof of anything, case closed.

Noone ever said this forum gauranteed any transactions taking place! However an owner and admin of a forum would probably not want scamming to take place in his forums.

Do some research walsh, there are forums all over the net for everything you can think of. Scamming takes place on every forum out there, if it becomes OK to let members get scammed the board ends up getting flooded with over seas, professional scammers. It is up to the admin and MODs to ensure this is a safe for all of its members!

Lets also keep in mind that we have 3 awesome sponsors in KB, FC, and Fuel that PAY to advertise here. Any scammer is taking away potential sales from the true sponsors! It is definately in the best interest of the admin and MODs to get issues like this resolved!

I have owned and operated dozens of diferent forums over the years, i build them up and then sell them for a profit. I currently own 2 of them and could give you the URL's if you wish to see them. I can tell you there are steps that can be taken to keep the forums clean!

With the way you carry yourself, I can almost gaurantee that if it was you getting your cash taken you would be crying in the open as well!

I never said it was ok. im sure he wont be posting again. end of story. yea if i got scammed id be pissed. but i would not act like a 12 year old about it. one topic about the scam is good enough. And should have end at that. Be mature about this and take care of it on your time and in a private matter.

If scams were kept completely silent and not brought out into the open forums then the other members would not know about what is going on, leaving the scammer to continue scamming members!

I do agree it should have been handled different, but if Old Fart saved 1 other member from getting scammed by 1hot then it was not for nothing!
