After it dies, does it re-start, then dies again, and only runs for three second each time it starts????

What did you do to fix the last issue????

It sounds like a broken wire or a bad connection from your stators pick-up sensor, For ignition spark.

That makes contact then separates due to the vibration of the motor running...

Start at the pick-up sensor that's positioned over the fly-wheel on the shifter-side of your crank case and make sure it's mounted securely it might be loose!!!

Then check the wires and their connections..

The connection for your pick-up sensor are found over the radiator's reservoir tank...I'll provide a photo if you can't find it...

What was wrong causing the lack of spark before?

You never said... that might be a crucial clue...

So I been thinking and here is what I have come up with so far...

Simple Things
Check all grounds
Check connector on key switch wire
Open velcro bag under hood by key switch and check connections in there.
Take apart thumb switch and look for issues

Things know to KILL the bike
Battery issue (even a slightly loose cable will kill instantly)
Regulator/Rectifier issue (check connector and perform inspections)
Fuel pump issue (check power at connector in front of tank)
Crank sensor issue (check connector over rad bottle & perform inspections of sensor)
Ignition coil issue (recheck coil and perform inspections of coil windings)
Roll Sensor (recheck)

Throttle position sensor (inside usable range of 0.2v ~ 4.8v... but incorrect adjustment)

Check your intake manifold & throttle-body rubber-Boot clamp for being loose....

It what holds your throttle-body to your cylinder head.....

Yep... had that one happen to me too... LOL...
D@mn throttle body fell right out.

It acted pretty erratic right before it came all the way out...
Seems like the engine speed ran way up and stuff like that...

turn key on , starts right up, runs absolutly perfect , fuel pump running the whole time , spark is great while running, they both stop exactally same time of engine shutting off, not them shut off then dies it is exactally all at same time. imreally not thinking broke wire. im thinking more like something in computer telling it to just shut off at exactally 3 seconds, EVERYTIME, even tried to rev it up revs perfect runs great for "3" sec. it can idle or run open still exact results . FI light not on . took apart kill swich its clean and perfect. all connections have been cleaned grounds also, you can start it 100 times in a row with out turning key off or on off or kill swich onn off , tried all combinations still same result every single time it runs 3 sec shuts off fires right back up . im clueless and ready to set it on fire, this quad has been nothing but a nightmare. i just bought it from my buddy that hasnt even put 20 hours on it since new it has sit in garage. please help before i push it down a mountain. do i have bad computer do i need to buy new one or can it be hooked to computer to be fixed . anthing helps can repl to me @ andytwo1ks@live.com since ill be traveling next couple days and wont be able to get on here but ill have quad with and i need this thing running before next weekeend or i have to let her go please please
