KFX450R 2008 Piston compression is 12.0 to 1...
2009-2011, I think they went to a 12.3 or 12.5 to 1...Not sure!...

i got a 09 and its still 12.0 to 1 Kawasaki didn't post the compression for 2010-2011 models
but shouldn't 12.8 be fine on the stock crank

I know that if you plan to go higher compression they "Recommend"

Blue-print,Re-balance, and weld your crank pin to keep your crank balance.

12.8:1 Just be aware! and keep a look out for excessive VIBRATION??

A sign that your crank is "Out of Balance" OR Going "Out of Balance"

I'm going to upgrade my crank I've just tapped out the funds for the moment but as soon as I get another chunk saved I'm gonna put a new one in.
