Question Dobeck Fuel Controller?

is the Dobeck Fuel controller worth the saved money? just wondering if anyone uses it or has experience with it.

it's fairly cheap, but what's the point of buying a more expensive one if they all do the same thing lol?

tell me what you think.

Well, the Dobeck controller is one of the many "carb logic" type tuners for the EFI.

I think these types are nice for the simple guy, or for fine tuning on the fly... easy...

If you want to reap the absolute most out of it by fine tuning at more points and running a real fuel injection map, the Procom's ECU is the way to go, or a PC3 or PC5.

And if you ever want to add an o2 sensor and autotune, the PC5 is the only option.

That is the controller that I have on my quad. I am not to happy with it. I think there is more power that has not been unleashed. The mods that I have are Sparks Exhaust, Modified Air Box without Lid, Intake and Exhaust Hot Cams, and the TFI Contoller from Dobeck. If I were to remove the controller and replace the ECU with the Procom Programmable ECU, I will get better performance? I do more Dune riding than trail riding. Or is there another route that I should be looking at? I love my quad and think there is some hidden power that has not been used. I need to find that power.

Get the Procom (it goes in place of the stock ECU) and keep the Dobeck TFI around for on-the-fly fine adjustments if you want.

You need a better intake, FCI is the way to go, or at least a fuel atv intake. The stock tube sucks!
