Do I spray the cleaner on

and then flush with water? or just use cleaner only? How much oil? If anyone can give me a detailed walk through I would appreciate it.

Get the K&N cleaning kit at the auto parts store, it'll come with instructions.

I use the PJ1 filter cleaner and fabric filter treatment (oil) the instructions are right there on the can and it works well. I'd say its very similar to the K&N kits.
