friggin battery

okay so in the past 2 yrs this will be my 5th battery that gets warrantied, Idk if they suck or what the deal is, i know its the battery this time cause 2 battery chargers say its full but autozone says its only at 34%, but the sucky part is im leaving friday for the dunes but kawi wants the whole quad brought down to run tests and then warranty the battery

That sucks! My '08 still has the stock battery and never once has given me any problems.

Keep it parked in neutral.. when it's left in gear there is an electrical draw and drains the battery.. Got mine new in 08 and still have stock battery.

Brutal. Seems like some of the KFXs have the battery drain issue, and some don't. I've had the same battery in mine since I bought it in '08. I've only needed to charge it once, when I accidentally stored it with the key in it, in the on position...

well my quad is always parked in neutral so your theory is blown out of the water!!! i park it the same way everytime and sometimes its good and sometimes it drains over night, i doubt they will do any real work on it just replace the battery like the other time, plus i told em i need it back by thursday cause im leaving for the dunes friday

It is not your battery. It is the ECU or something else draining the battery and causing the problems. There is a very long thread on this subject. Do a search.
