Intake, air box, filter

i just put a new air box, a k&n filter and a intake. Do i need to take it to the shop so they can jet it? Or can i just go ride with no problem?
-thanks in advance

if you have an exhaust too you will need to get a power commander or something similar. these bikes have no adjustment without one, so no jetting can be done. it will be pretty lean with out any tuning. look into the dynojet power commander

no matter what if u put a different intake on you will need a fuel controller, doesnt matter if u have an exhaust or not, intake is enough to make it run lean so my suggestion do not ride it

you're treading on some dangerous water bro. I wouldn't ride it without a programmer. You don't NEED a powercommander. There are other types. rockymountainatv has a lexx for $199. Put in offer code PARTS10 and you'll save $20 on a $150 purchase.

well true you dont NEED a powercommander, but it offers the only real true tune, sure the 3 button ones can get you close, but the pc3 can adjust increments of throttle and rpm range

Lots of PC's for sale used pretty cheap too if you look around but a similar fuel management device is required. Motoworks makes one too which they used on my build. I have the Motoworks SR4 full exhaust with the Fuel intake and box and it runs like a top.
