Oh... you are going to be way floored when you see what I have come up with for it.

I just hope and pray there is enough room for it.
Gotta get my d@mn bike back so I can take some measurements.

It might just give everything a run for the money in the intake business.
I think some folks are going to wish they jumped on this and snatched it up for production.

Gotta get the dang bike home though, get it all together and find a dyno.

I think best way to home make it. get a 2" inch pipe and cut it to adapt the stock 45 to the ltr tube. Then call dasa and get a dasa intake ring. Fuel atv uses a dasa ring i think you can pick it up for 40-50$. And mount that to your stock air box. Or you can use a 3 1/4" pipe and run that trough the airbox from the ltr tube and mount filter onto that.

I've got a better idea, that I believe will yield a good bit more power... IF IT WILL FIT!

I didn't get my KFX back today as the servicing dealer expected.
So I still have not been able to check.

Seen this done with a LTR boot and the LTR proflow filter adapter. The adapter has the mounting for the intake sensor in it. The aluminum bracket is fitted into the trimmed stock box. This setup also gives you a much larger filter. Seemed to work very well.
