i will vouch that rudy is one hell of a guy... ive been ordering from him for probably 5 or 6 years now and wont go anywhere else.... he was keith littles mechanic for a while so he knows his stuff for sure... to get a "perfect" reading as dust devil is saying is correct, but i dont know of any shop that actually does that... they should, but they dont... either way, id trust rudy with my quad no doubt

I met a few W.O.R.C racer/mechanics with YFZs & KFXs pushing between 70~90 horse-power. built and set to last for about 5 hours/Boom before they tear it down and go threw it...

The Torque numbers is what to focus on 45~55 ft/lb = 70~90 HP....

With a lot of Torque keep on eye on the bushing/collar that hold your 2nd/3rd gear on the counter-shaft....If it fails you'll shear off the gears 2nd/3rd...

lol you have missed the point, you have never raced 1 then your just a trail rider i take it, kawa needs a fair bit of cash to be on par with the other 450's which is bullshit suzi is cheaper faster and with just a pipe make high 48hp put in a couple of cams its pumpping 52hp kawa is lucky to make 42 with just a pipe and your 45 hardly come up to muster now does it.

It annoys the crap out of me when ppls who have not got a clue post here and say stick in some cams a intake pipe just to start once that is done there still to bloody slow. also annoys me when ppls inflate there performanced and say i quote "cant keep the wheels down" which is rubbish.

put your kfx in a race and you will see how under powered they are

btw i aint smoking any thing think i dont own all them quads and not comparing apples with apples

look for your self
