Ok to answer my next questions. If you have the auto tune Where do you weld the Bung? Also we have ti header pipes so you need a special bung? What type of weld is required?

You'll need a Titanium Bung for a Titanium head-pipe (Only)

Find a good TIG welder that has experience with Stainless-steel can weld the Titanium bung for you...

My local shop DR DIRTS LAKE HAVASU CITY, AZ (928) 855-6995 found me a titanium weld bung!
Since the other places are "Back-Ordered"...For I have the Dynojet's WB-2 that I'm installing....Dynojet Wide Band 2, Air/Fuel Ratio Monitor Kit, WB2, Dynojet Research Inc, Performance Tuning

As for the location..

Where can I weld a lambda sensor bung on the exhaust system?

The placement of the O2 sensor is not very critical. It is a heated sensor and its temperature is controlled by the AFR Tuner, so it will adapt to the placement between wide limits. If the sensor is anywhere on the collector pipe near the footpeg then it will be fine. Motorcycle exhausts are too short for overcooling to be a problem and overheating is unlikely to be an issue on naturally aspirated engines.

The recommended installation angle is at least 10° inclined from horizontal,(3 and 9 o'clock position for best results) with the electrical connection pointing upwards. This is to prevent the collection of liquids between the sensor housing and the sensor element during the cold start phase.

With short and large diameter exhausts reverse flow might be an issue at low RPM and low flow if the sensor is too close to the exit. The pressure pulses may bring some air in from the outside and the lambda measurement may be falsified. Putting the sensor at the front of these slipons should eliminate this effect.

I have the PCV w/Autotune and I love it. Like the previous poster above, I don't have any experience yet riding in wet conditions, but everything seems to be in tune and running great. I didn't wire mine to the taillight like they suggest due to the headlights being on at all times issue, but I can't remember off hand what I wired to. Anyways, great system and worth a couple hundred dollars more to me because I don't have to take it to a dyno.

Here are some pics of where I put the O2 bung and Autotune box

So dust devil you have the PC5 w/auto tune correct? Did you just hook it up and it worked right away with auto tune or do you have to load a close map then allow it to start working?

The Auto-tune comes with It's own software....
Click on the "Pictures" Below

I have the Dynatek F.S programmable ignition with the DRSP-1 Programmer...(see Attachments Below)

I have the Dynojet WB-2 O2 sensor...Basically Like the Auto-tune I have to adjust manually...

it is reccomended by SEVERAL Shops that you put a base map on that is close to good and then the auto tune will adjust from there

Kinda wat I was thinking too. I'm gonna do some more reading and I'll do my best to learn these systems so I can help later too.

O another thing can I just put the bung right before my exhaust pipe where its stainless?

There's the initial map outlining your mods to the software for the auto-tune to adjust from....Not sure! Because of your Big-bore mod, you'll have to have it Dyno'd for a custom map!!!

Contact; Dynojet makers of the PC V and auto-tune....

Write an email ckelly@dynojet.com

He helped me with my WB-2...
