The LTR450 tube is what fuelATV uses.

The LT500R tube is what BCS performance uses.

If you are going to run the airbox eliminator intake, just buy an LTR tube and a 400EX filter (Uni/K&N). Slide the metal part of the 400EX filter inside the tube and clamp it down. Then figure out a mount bracket.

The z400 air boot is a little restrictive, I replaced mine with a honda 450r fuel customs intake, and there was (I believe) a couple horse gain from it. My z400 big bore puts out a total of 43 hp

what about and intake for trail riding with nasty mud pits like the one here in PR? If you run w/o Air Box you will ruin your power plant in no time!
No Low cost intake setup with the air box?

I'm building one... hopefully final version will be complete shortly.

It's a whole XC setup.

On a side note, I have no idea why anyone would want to use a KFX400/LTZ400 tube on a 450.

Changing the tube was so popular on the 400 that an aftermarket company actually made a special box that was designed for using the 400EX tube on the KFX400... as it is much larger.
